Integration Solo Show
After we released Jack’s debut album, Integration, we wanted to find a way to bring the experience of making that album to the stage. Jack’s background as a storyteller led us to the concept of a solo show. One-part theater, one-part music, one-part multimedia. For the previous 2 years we had been documenting Jack’s process & experience attempting to become a hip-hop artist. We had 14 terabytes of footage stashed away and it was time to find a way to bring that story to a larger audience. We got to work creating a script for the show & designing the lighting, sound & visual cues. Within a few short months, we were ready to take it to the stage. We debuted this show on a small stage in Boulder, Colorado with about 20 people in attendance. Within 6 months we were preparing to bring the show to Denver Fringe Festival & shortly thereafter, Vancouver Fringe Festival. What a ride it’s been.
