Malcolm Whyz3

Background

Malcolm Whyz3 (pronounced “wise”) is a Denver-based conscious rapper who found his true calling in music. Though born and raised in Colorado, Whyz3 spent his summers in Harlem, visiting jazz clubs with his dad and falling in love with music from a young age. Watching his friends break into Denver’s underground hip-hop scene, he felt the itch to join them. Less than a year later, Whyz3 dropped his 2021 EP, Before the Streetlights Come On, cementing himself as a pillar of Colorado’s hip-hop community.

Malcolm brought me on in the early stages of planning his first tour as a supporting act. Our first project together was figuring how to tour & what it takes to make it a creative endeavor. We didn’t know what we were doing but we made it happen. We traveled through eight states in support of Mark Battles & we documented the entire thing. Now that we’re back and more settled, our next project is developing Malcolm’s brand & creating a solid foundation.
