Background

Art House Creative is a creative studio focused on Artist Development & Management, Creative Direction & Visual Production. The company supports a range of multi-disciplinary artists in developing their brands & bringing their art to the world. It is one-part creative, one-part business. Art House exists to give all art a home.

I am the Founder & Creative Director of Art House. After several years of building my freelance business & working as Creative Director for startups, I decided that it was time to forge my own path in the world of creative. My role here is to support & develop artists in the early stages of their art while simultaneously creating a lasting foundation for their careers. I also run the business from A-Z, ensuring that the Art House foundation is strong for future projects.


Responsibilities Overview

  • Direct & Lead the Creative Vision & Team

  • Develop company infrastructure, workflows & processes

  • Define and articulate the overall creative vision for projects, campaigns, or brands.

  • Ensure the creative direction aligns with client goals, brand identity, and target audience.

  • Generate original ideas and innovative concepts across various media platforms.

  • Lead brainstorming sessions to explore creative solutions and develop high-level concepts for campaigns, events, or visual storytelling.

  • Develop creative strategies that align with broader marketing, branding, or artistic goals.

  • Manage all projects & ensure deadlines are being met (Asana Focused)

  • Collaborate with marketing, production, and design teams to translate strategy into execution.

  • Lead and inspire the creative team, including designers, writers, photographers, videographers, and other creatives.

  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and guidance throughout the creative process.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and teamwork.

  • Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Allocate resources efficiently, managing schedules and workloads across multiple projects.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the creative team and clients.

  • Present creative concepts, strategies, and deliverables to clients, securing buy-in and feedback.

  • Maintain and elevate client brand visual and tonal identity across all channels.

  • Ensure consistency in messaging, design, and execution to build a recognizable and coherent brand image.

  • Review and approve all creative materials (designs, campaigns, visuals) before they are shared or published.

  • Ensure all work maintains high creative standards and is visually compelling, original, and effective.

  • Manage the creative budget, ensuring that the financial resources are allocated effectively.

  • Negotiate costs with vendors, artists, and other external partners to ensure high-quality production within budget constraints.

  • Oversee narrative development for visual, written, and multimedia content.

  • Ensure all creative outputs communicate a cohesive story that connects with audiences emotionally and intellectually.

  • Address creative challenges and provide solutions that maintain the integrity of the vision and timeline.

  • Adapt quickly to feedback, changing client needs, or unexpected hurdles, while keeping projects on course.

  • Drive the development and implementation of new creative processes, tools, and technologies that improve efficiency and output.
